요한계시록 13장 16절에 기록되어 있는 ‘짐승의 표’가 사용되는 정확한 위치는 어디인가?

사랑침례교회의 성도들이라면 이미 잘 알고 있는 사실이겠지만, 아래와 같이 여러 성경 별로 비교를 한 번 해봄으로, 킹제임스 성경만이 진실을 말하고 있음을 더 실감나게 확연히 알 수 있을 것 같아 이 자리에 소개한다.

위에서 살펴 본 바와 같이 수많은 성경 번역본들 가운데, 오직 킹제임스만이 전치사 ‘in’을 사용하여 정확하게 그 위치를 알려 주고 있다. 전치사 ‘in’이 사용되었다는 것은 앞으로 가까운 미래의 어느 시점에 사용되어질 짐승의 표가 말 그대로 몸 ‘안’에 들어가게 될 것을 보여 준다.

요한계시록에 기록된 짐승의 표가 단순히 ‘상징’이 아니라 ‘실재’를 가리킨다고 믿는다면, 현재 혹은 앞으로 어떤 기술적 완성을 통하여 눈앞에 등장하게 될 어떤 형태의 ‘표’ 일지라도 그것이 짐승의 표가 되기 위해서는, 그것은 반드시 몸 ‘안’에 들어가는 형태이어야만 할 것이다. 이것이 변개됨 없이 보존되어 온 킹제임스 성경이 우리에게 알려주고 있는 진실이다!
